Bryan Mitchell

Mr. Bryan Mitchell, AAS, currently serves as the Program Director for the Electrical Trades program, as well as the Co-Program Director of the Controlled Environment Agriculture program at Western Dakota Technical College. Bryan’s past work experience includes serving as an electrical technician at Kiewit Mining Group’s Buckskin Mine, where he was responsible for troubleshooting and diagnostics of some of the most advanced electrical control systems in the electrical industry. He also served as a Service Engineer/Technical Service Representative for the largest manufacturer of electrical mining equipment, P&H MinePro (now Komatsu Mining). Mr. Mitchell was also a part of the Asset Care Response Team for Miller Coors, where he was responsible for maintaining the electrical and mechanical system operation for a facility that took raw materials and manufactured them into 3.2 million beer bottles per day.

Bryan currently holds numerous Electrical Contractor/Master Electrician Licenses He also holds an Electrical Journeymen’s license in North Dakota and a federal license through the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) Bryan also sits on the board of directors for the South Dakota Electrical Council.
